Aline: Apadrinha-me!

Um dia (12/2007), na empresa do tratamento do lixo encontrámos a Aline, uma cadela grande, meiguissima e em estado de tristeza e magreza deploraveis. Tinha leite. Perguntámos ao homem que ali estava o que era feito dos cachorros. Disse-me que tinham dado, mas depois confessou que foram mortos. Levámo-la ao vet. Infecção nas maminhas, otites crónicas e leshmaniose.
Agpra está tratada e feliz, mas por ter leshmaniose ninguem a quer. É uma doce cadela, meiga e com um olhar sofrido.

One day (December 2007) we found Aline in the waste recycling plant. She was a big female, very gentle but terribly thin and seemingly sad. Her breasts were full of milk. We asked a man from there about what had happened to the puppies and he pretended they had been given away (they would be too young) and finally he admitted they had been killed.
We took her to the vet: she had a mammary infection, chronical otitis (ear infection) and the result of leishmaniasis came positive. She has been treated and the leishmaniasis has been controlled but for that reason noone wants to adopt her. She is a sweet and gentle dog with sad eyes.
